Stanley Security Delivers a $1M Solution for Tiffany & Co.
Since 1837, Tiffany & Co. has been the world's premier jeweler and house of design. Headquartered in New York City, Tiffany sells jewelry, sterling silver, china, crystal, stationery, fragrances, personal accessories, as well as some leather goods. Many of these goods are sold under the Tiffany name at Tiffany stores and through direct-mail and corporate merchandising.
Stanley Convergent Security Solutions (CSS) teamed with the Global Vertical Market Solutions team to present Tiffany with a proposal to supply and install Honeywell ProWatch access control at 160 locations throughout the US, Canada, Central/South America, Europe, Asia, Hawaii, Guam and the Middle East, and connect to the Tiffany Enterprise System in Parsippany NJ. Tiffany made the decision to move forward with the proposed solution, resulting in a $1,017,000 sale! One of the factors that won the deal for Stanley was our ability to configure and ship the panels from New York, satisfying Tiffany’s strict requirements. The team is now in the process of providing Tiffany a pre-configured ProWatch panel packaged with required equipment to allow for uniform consistent installations at all of the sites.
This is an exciting project for a number of reasons. It is a truly international effort, and the team has gotten tremendous support from both Stanley employees and subcontractors around the world. Additionally, Tiffany has indicated that they would like Stanley to be the only vendor servicing their access control and alarm systems moving forward, eliminating competitors such as Siemens from the equation.
The future looks bright for Tiffany and Stanley Security Solutions. There are a number of additional projects on the horizon including an opportunity in Verona, Italy, three sites in Germany, three sites in France and a site in the UK.
